Forgiveness takes us home:

so here, ego is defined as a mistaken belief that we have somehow separated from God and have gained an independent navigational system that guides us through the world. An ego limits us to the body and keeps us small in our every ambition.

it’s not wrong -

but simply an illusion.

forgiveness sees right through this, heading past the ego to the still-point within and says that we are committed to seeing each for who we truly are, and that here — our every wrongdoing is impossible. There is no sin, only belief in a mistaken thought system that has led us astray.

forgiveness takes us home.
